Human Resources Coordinator

POSITION: Full time

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management & Administration, or related degree desired. Although a degree is preferred, extensive experience in a like position with similar duties may be substituted for all or part of the education preference.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in personnel management/human relations or human resources management.
• Knowledge of general office procedures and all Microsoft Office programs.
• Working knowledge of basic HR principles.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

DUTIES:
• Coordinate the logging and distribution of all incoming employment applications.
• Coordinate pre-employment physicals, drug screens, and background checks.
• Coordinate job advertisements for open positions.
• Respond to requests for information from applicants, employees, and others.
• Coordination of FMLA and unemployment benefits.
• Work directly in support of the hiring process (i.e. create interview packets, reference checks, providing job descriptions, etc).
• Oversee and maintain all current and archived personnel files.
• Help with coordination of the Employee Banquet, Employee Picnic, and Wellness Fair.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

OTHER:
• Salary range is $27,000 – $29,000 annually.
