FIU - Development Coordinator (full-time)
Intercollegiate Athletics is currently recruiting for an Athletic Development Coordinator. In this role the Coordinator assists in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of current and prospective athletic donors, through phone, mail and face to face meetings.
Duties include but are not limited to:
# Responsibility for all aspects of administrative functions of Athletic Development Office including, gift processing and recording, data entry, moves management, and donor correspondence under the direction of the Asst. Athletic Director, Major Gifts.
# Assisting in the procurement of donor benefits and stewardship recognition.
# Assisting in managing internal gift campaign of University Staff including, marketing, gift processing, and recognition.
# Supporting the Athletic Development staff, under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director, Major Gifts, with development of interactive website and e-revenue.
# Assisting in all game day and special event development operations and other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director, Major Gifts.
# Performing administrative duties such as preparing expense reports and other administrative reporting and duties under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director, Major Gifts.
Requirements
# Excellent verbal and written communication skills
# Good customer service and interpersonal skills
# Good judgment, organizational skills, and the capacity to work independently
# Must be energetic, self-motivated, innovative, and take initiative
# Must project a professional demeanor through in-person and phone interaction
# Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience.
