GAME ON! SPORTS CAMP 4 GIRLS is a multi-week private summer day camp dedicated to creating an exceptional sports camp experience for girls nationwide. The GAME ON! mission is to work with girls to develop or enhance their appreciation and appetite for sports & fitness. GAME ON! SPORTS CAMP 4 GIRLS is looking for qualified athletes, coaches and teachers who share our passion for sports, fitness, kids and fun to join our staff team for the 2011 summer session at each of the following camp locations: St. Scholastica Academy (Rogers Park, Chicago); and Moody Bible Institute (Near North Side, Chicago). CAMP DIRECTOR POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Camp Director responsibility is to execute that Mission every day at camp and may very well run into the school year as well. The Camp Director establishes the personality and energy of camp and is responsible for:

* Securing and Maintaining a safe and fun CAMP environment
* Being the ultimate Role model for Staff and Campers
* Daily Camp Energy
* Organizing and Executing Daily camp schedule including morning team stations and afternoon optionals
* Organizing and executing special camp events and theme week activities;
* Coordinating and managing camp field trips
* Scheduling, coordinating and executing guest clinics: bringing in as many volunteer collegiate and pro women athletes and coaches and other VIAs/VICs (Very important athletes and/or coaches)
* Managing and motivating camp staff
* Interacting with Campers
* Coordinating equipment needs and maintaining equipment
* Maintaining good relations with facility host
* Taking quality care of facility property
* Attending and aiding in the supervision of GAME ON! events during the school year to the extent possible;
* Aiding in the marketing of GAME ON! year-round


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

* Strong Athletic background a plus
* Current involvement in sports and fitness
* Experience in Coaching or Instructing kids in Sports
* Self Motivated
* Love of Sports and Kids
* Passionate about the chance to empower young girls and hook them for life when it comes to participation in sports and fitness
* Energy comparable to the Eveready Bunny
* Warm and Dynamic Personality including sense of humor
* Strong leadership capabilities balanced by the ability to be a team player
* Networked in community a plus
* Supreme patience
* Strong Management skills
* Great communication skills
* An appreciation for the benefits of sports in the lives of young children
