Job Opening – Recreation Division
Camp Wokanda Manager

POSITION: Full Time

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Parks, Recreation, Resource Management, or related field. Although a degree is preferred, extensive experience in a like position with similar duties and responsibilities may be substituted for part or all of the educational requirement.
• Minimum of two years in recreation facility management.
• Experience in maintaining building interior/exterior and operating maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge and experience in upkeep/troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, and well systems.
• Experience working with the public required.
• Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance procedures and equipment, facility repair, and conservation practices.
• Exhibit outstanding communication and organizational skills.

DUTIES:
• Selecting, training, supervising, and evaluating all subordinate personnel working at the park.
• Scheduling and supervising all grounds and buildings maintenance and equipment maintenance throughout the park.
• Coordinating all rentals of facilities and providing assistance to rental groups as needed.
• Making or scheduling repairs on buildings, roadways, trails and other camp structures.
• Develop annual budget and track revenues and expenditures to keep within budget projections.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records for servicing, operating instructions, etc.
• Attend meetings and participate in leadership efforts of the Environmental and Interpretive Services Unit of the Recreation Division.
• All other duties as assigned.

OTHER:
• Membership in AFSCME Council 31, Local 3774 will be required.
• Evenings and weekends will be required.
