Qualifications: BA/BS in recreation, sports management or related field with a minimum of 2-years experience. Must have a good understanding of athletic programming and leagues, budgeting, customer service and personnel management. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and work in a team environment. CPR, AED and first aid required within 3-months of hire. CPRP preferred.
Duties: Athletic Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, administering and supervising recreation and athletic programs and leagues, summer camps and special events, promote and market current programs and leagues, park district liaison with various community athletic associations, and recruit, hire, train and evaluate staff and volunteers. Demonstrate fiscal responsibilities within areas of responsibilities and provide reports.
